Eyedrop

Eyedrop is an online tool that allows you to pick a color from your screen with the help of experimental EyeDropper API recently launched in Chrome v95. Web technology is so lightweight that it become so convenient to use when you need to pick some color and build your color palette from image/media sharing platform on the internet.

Color Picking Method

Pick Color from Current Screen

This method will trigger the eye dropper input as soon as you click "Pick Color from Screen" button. You may be able to change browser tab on focus on another window using keyboard shortcut, but the eye dropper will pick color from what's seen on the screen when you click the button.

This method is best to use when you're working with multiple screen.

Delayed Color Picking

Delayed color picking gives you enough time (2 seconds) to focus on another browser tab or window where you want trigger the eye dropper and pick a color from screen.

Mini Window

If this feature is supported in your browser, you can open a small independent window of Eyedrop and close this page.
